The Preacher Men is a brand new Hammond trio includingThree top musicians sharing the love for the original Hammond trio’s from the ‘50s- ‘60s. Individually each one of them made their mark as a jazz musician, as The Preacher Men they go back to the era of Blue Note and Verve, with heroes like Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff, Lou Donaldson & Stanley Turpentine, the era of smokey jazz clubs in Chicago and New York. The Preacher Men put on a steamy show, packed with craftsmanship and pure pleasure. These guys keep challenging each other to a point where even the smallest musical surprise can lead to an intense improvisation. Just for the fun of it! Their debut album is called ‘Preaching out Loud’ and will be released early 2016. The album and live shows contain the band's favorite tracks from the '50s and '60s ('I want a little girl', 'The show has begun') but also new compositions.
